who are you guest? you've appeared suddenly... anyways, brett might be on holiday or something, we've had the word he's signing and i'm sure he will. anyways, if people look on the leagues website at the friendlies list most clubs have one or two left to play, basically if we don't get another game played or maybe a few we're not going to be fit enough to survive against southwell, we all know they have firepower and ability so why are we setting ourselves for a fall, someone give the colliers a ring! the old saying goes 'failing to prepare is preparing to fail'. we'l see by our first home game where we are in the league. |

Brett played on Saturday against Bolsover, also I understand there is another friendly/Trophy match at South Normanton's Lee's Lane ground on Monday evening. (although my info is unofficial at this stage) |

I believe Froggy has signed for someone else (can't remember who off the top of my head). Not sure about Sharpy, with Pelican getting promoted and obviously paying enough to have got him "out of retirement" last season I suspect we won't be seeing him.
I believe around 8 of last seasons squad have gone to Gedling with our ex-manager (although we'll see how many get a game week in, week out).
Just a point of interest, I went to watch Gedling versus Stavely last season at Gedling and including the 4 of us who went, there were around 25-30 spectators, the standard of play wasn't much different and the most vocal section were a swarm of sh*t flies from the sewage works. It was to be fair, more physical.
When people are motivated by money at grass roots level what can you do? (obviously not all players are). You can hardly blame the commitee at Heanor, what's the point in throwing money at players when you don't own your ground and can't get promoted? Opinions anyone? |

Froggie has signed 4 someone else Pheasant Plucker, i also cant think of their name, but if his dad has anything to do he will be back at Heanor sooner rather than later!!! Hope Sharpey doesn't return, he's had his chances at Heanor and sh#t on us, also made a fool out of Sealy.
It's obvious that Andy Freeman has sweet talked our best players to go with him to Gedling, wait till the season gets underway and we'll see who comes back to us.
Heanor must be seen by every other club in the CML to be a non ambitious club, the talk of the new changing rooms has been ongoing since the year dot!!!!!! Still no sign, Steve your money is safe my friend. _________________ UP THE LIONS!! |

I told you earlier I am not a gambling man but would be more than happy to donate the money if things progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe that the changing room issue came up after Mr Sykes left the club, is it ten or so years ago now?
Dont get too dispondent Paul things can only get better! at least the light shines brightly over Broadway, as someone who wishes to remain behind their mask would say.
Have a peek at my latest post on the Town Ground Improvements topic for the latest info I have received. |

Thought I heard that Froggie has signed for Selston.
Greeny, Chris Davis, Vickerton, Widdowson, etc. have all gone to Gedling. However, Gedling don't have a reserve side so it remains to be seen how many get a game week in week out. If they aren't playing in the first team they won't play, simple as that.
Have to say that the side was very, very young and lightweight on Saturday. It certainly needs more old heads in my opinion. |

I don't know you nor do you know me, so in response to your remark about me s**tting on heanor that's the biggest load of b*ollocks i have ever heard. If giving up football to spend more time with my family means s**tting on heanor then it proves my decision was right. So get a life you pathetic individual! |

Sharpey, did you or did you not tell Sealey you were packing in football all together to spend time with your kids, and did you or did you not the following week play for Pelican!!!!!!!!! it's common knowledge at Heanor buddy. You have crapped on us from a huge height and all the support we gave you as well. Take a leaf out of Travs book mate, the guy is loyal through and through to Heanor and is very much respected by us the supporters. I cant speak for everyone but i dont want you back here. _________________ UP THE LIONS!! |

Reference my earlier post "When people are motivated by money at grass roots level" I don't think I have to mention who this might apply to!!!
Sharpey in his first spell at Heanor, was a cracking player to watch, yes selfish, but all good strikers are. It's a shame but I'm afraid Paul's right, it wasn't us who lied and he shouldn't be castigated for telling the truth.
I think it might be you who needs to get a life Roy (or at least some morals).
I realise that even if you are sh*t all season you will no doub't have a blinder against us for all the stick your'e getting unless youv'e "retired" of course. |
