Just wondering, as a forgotten fan, what peoples views are for the new season ahead. We have got a half decent looking league... Greenwood, Blackwell, Dunkirk, Forest Town, Gedling, Prims, Holbrook, Radford and obviously Heanor from the CMFL. A few good local derbies in there still!
The good news is, "Uncle Frank" is still with us! Becoming joint chairman on the league.
Whats peoples views?
Next years league table.

We had the start of season fiasco with Danny Bryant and now the end of season fiasco with Brian Franks, whats going on?? Thanks Brian for your efforts throughout the season, this club needs a character like yourself i think. Too many people with faces like pirate flags. Does nobody else want to comment on this? It appears to me that nobodys job is safe, Jodie, watch ya back!!
Can somebody plze confirm when the presentation night will be held? _________________ UP THE LIONS!! |

Brian, whatever the reasons for you leaving HTFC, I for one believe that you will be missed at the club. I am not party to the reasons for your departure but if my memory serves me correctly, someone on this site indicated earlier in the season that you along with Nathan George would be departing sooner or later.
I have been told on several occasions by players that you have the respect of the majority who have worn the Lions shirt this season and looking at the earlier comments in this thread, you have the respect of a number of loyal supporters too.
Good luck to you whichever club you get involved with next, your experience will undoutably be well appreciated.
Regards
Steve P |

Brian, you know my thoughts through the PM I sent, I bet I don't get a wave from any of the management team next season!
In referance to a previous comment on this thread, Jody won't be sacked by Heanor, it's like he is part of the "Bennett Mafia". He is above being removed from his position due to his friendship with Jamie outside of the club. Work commitments mean he is available whenever needed too, I think I can say that without 'punishment'
As you said to me Brian, our paths will cross again, good times are ahead for you wherever you end up! Every club needs a franksy, someone in the "godfather" role to watch over what happens.
About next season, it now looks like Forest Town won't be accepted into the East Midlands Counties Premier (or whatever its called) down to lack of floodlights... a so called 'better club' ousted from plans! |

heanor_red you might get a wave from the management next season but the hand will only have 2 fringers.
as for brian i agree with steve he will be missed, qualifications in football doesnt mean u know anything as i found out while i was there. money talks and bullsh1t walks and all that.
it was pretty obvious that the remaining 2 would be there at the end.
i would really like to say alot more, but i might be libel. |

aslong as they are your views nathan and theres no malice in it, go ahead, im sure the admin will decide if its suitable or not...
as for the two fingers... wouldn't be surprised!
would it really have hurt you to keep brian on board, jamie?
the next thing he has to worry about at heanor is who's gonna run the reserves. I hear Andy Elks has left dunkirk... |

just to add fuel to the fire i dont doubt for a minute that Brian has done a great job at the club. In Jamies defence the way things have panned out over the season he is yet to make a bad call in reference to staff and players. It seems only those with sour grapes and negative attitudes jump on this site when theres a moan to be had. The clubs been consolidated and more good has happened off the pitch this season than in the last ten years!
Anyway the real reason i came on does anyone know what time the presentation starts friday?? |
