Final game of the season and 3/4 of the team might as well have not turned up.Surely some of the players had their minds on the long summer break and a well earned rest on the beach at Ingoldmells!!
Good performances from Jamie in goal(what else do we expect from him)surely a red hot favourite for the player of the year and Jack at left back who battled right to the end.Shame others didnt follow.
Highlights of the game came from Jamie who made a superb one handed save just before half time,a fantastic whipped in cross from the right by Jack leading to a goal ,the sound of breaking glass as a nearby greenhouse was demolished and Timmo who atttempted to control the ball somewhere in midfield only to see the ball bounce off him 30 yards for a throw in!!classic.Perhaps he should spend some time on a beach with a nosebag on,giving kids a ride and a bell around his neck!!!soz Timmo.
