Not wishing to drag the original strand regarding Steve Travis any lower I have decided to start a fresh one. To correct both Frank, who has been a member for a few days and HeanorPuppet who has been a member for a few months and their asumption that me, Newshound is a Sutton Supporter I can confirm here and now that is totally untrue. As I have only been to their ground on one occasion and that was around 4 years ago when Heanor played them I can hardly be called a supporter, but you probably wouldnt be able to remember Heanor playing that far back would you? I will tell you both that I have been associated with Heanor Town FC since the 1960's.

To go back to the point, I was merely making a comment in regards to Steve Pinnegars post on Steve Travis, but for some reason you wish to get personal, boardering on offensive with your respective retorts. I would suggest that if you dont like other peoples reasonable comments and observations you refrain from posting onto this site.

I will share with you some information I have received from "a source close to the club" that allegedly all is not well between the Director of Football and his right hand men, although the two may not be aware of it.
My source tells me that they do not have the confidence of The Director of Football and the reason they are still in their respective positions is due to concerns over player loyalty and the possibility of an exodous of even more players from the Town Ground.

If this is true you will both probably be supporting another club before Christmas and I will be cheering on Heanor Town!

Up the Lions!!!

newshound as for being a supporter for years, good for you. why have u only been registered for 2 months?? around the time when the sh1t was being thrown around.

As for jamie not having confidence in his right hand men! obviously this is pointed at me and brian if you are willing to reveal your source pm me.(i wont hold my breath). Whats the point in saying things if you cant back them up , or r u just trying to stir??

Hear we go again, bloody back stabin... Please let the TWO get on with the job (the team). Trav may have been a good servant for us, but he cant go playing for ever. Some of you need a reality check, look at what we started with at the start of this campaign. Danny in charge, Not, Is, Not, Is, Not. So these Two took over picking the team. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day. Its so easy to criticise. Confused

Looks like my source of information was a good one, well in part up to now, as one of The Director of Footballs right hand men, Nathan, has lost his position as one of his assistants and looking at Saturdays lineup he is not wanted as a player either! Personally I think Nathan has been treated in a shocking way! When will it be the turn of Brian Franks?

The fact he has been removed from his management position is bad, but the fact he only found out through a phone call telling him it was in the local paper is totally disgraceful.
It had even been changed at the reserves game on wednesday.

To be honest nathan, he doesnt deserve a player with the determination you have to succeed. When someone who buys into a club decides to drop someone who wanted to join heanor because he wanted a good year... the question has to be asked, are the leadership of HTFC right for the job?

Nathan mate, you know what I'd do right now, a few short words and the returning of a tracksuit. I know you're better than that, don't let the situation get to you. I hope to see you playing for us soon as!

The truth will out eventually when jamie waddles off with his tail between his legs having sacked his last friend where his he taking this club ? for a director of football his people skills are shite !!
nathan worked as hard as anybody during pre season to get this team going in the right direction and this is the treatment he gets its shocking and maybe a few people still at the club should take a long hard look at whats left and hold their heads in shame !!
when danny went earlier in the season it was uproar and i know danny was very happy with the work nathan put into heanor so come the end of the season a bottom 2 finish will be just about what jamie deserves because he cant manage a football team and he cant manage people.

Anyone remember the 0-0 draw with mickleover sports in pre season seems a hell of a long way off now dont it jamie ?? team spirit, players working their nuts off, fans saying nothing but positive stuff about the squad where did it all go wrong jamie

I have received information that Jamie Bennett the Director of Football/Manager is holding a UK Soccer Showcase for his Sports-ed company at the Town Ground on Wednesday the 5th of December between 12noon & 4pm.

According to the site the proceedings will be on video!!!!!!!

It might be nice if one or two disgruntled HTFC supporters turned up with banners showing others what they think of him. You never know you might get on telly!!!

I ask the question is he using the club to enhance is business interests or is he genuinely wanting the club to progress

why not visit the site and see for yourself!
