Just want to apologise to the guys that witnessed the ref having to 'send me off'
I only entered the field of play as our keeper had a head injury. He could have been in any state. Is there anything wrong with looking after someone who claimed to have been 'smacked in the face'.
All I can say is... UP THE LIONS!
Good game in the end. Their equaliser shouldnt have counted with our keeper having a head injury. Shocking that it stood, ah well... and so this cant be used against me, they are a fans views! Not the acting physio's views. |

Referee was poor for both teams. Standard needs sorting out and hopefully Frank Harwood and the CMFL can help do this. Not sure of the referee structure but there has to be better referee's around in the NSL?
Well done lads, another good performance and unlucky not to win tonight. |

If the ref reports me. I am going to be going for the big one. Their second goal shouldn't have been chalked up. I'm not afraid to go for something, people at the club will back me, I know that for certain.
Harwood unfortunately cant do a thing, he is only press officer nowdays.
It is Eddie Pearce that needs to look into in, the league chairman... from distant codnor i'm lead to believe.
Lets just get over tonight, I know there are people fuming about stuff from tonight, one man... he isn't officiating for at least a month. Good news for everyone else.
Well up for saturday, lets go for it! |

I was stood right beind the net when they scored last night the keeper was smacked in the face and had the ref or lineman seen it i've no doubt it would have been red card but they didn't and that was really all that was wrong with the goal, if he didn't see him on the floor he cant stop the game and so the goal should have stood ! the linesman had a good view but the ref had at least 10 players in the way of the keeper.
When you came onto the pitch heanorred to treat the keeper you broke the rules mate and a bloke next to me said straight away you shouldn't have been there and you were gonna get booked ! i thought that was harsh considering what had happened to the keeper but again if the ref hadn't seen what happened how is he to know it was an head injury and your booking was again the right decision.
I enjoyed the game last night bit of everything in it really heanor got the point they deserved in the end although had the ref seen the foul on the keeper it would have been all 3 points. dunkirks goal was a cracking finish and the amount of running grovesy did he deserved the goals. The ref at times was so bad it was funny but that hasn't happened over night they been awful for ages now.
tyrone cairns for dunkirk and danny odonnell for heanor stood out for me ! |
