I am ashamed to be a heanor fan. for the first time in my short following.

It is disgusting. I fully admire Steve for saying he wont be at home games. I have no problem with anyone going to away games, but please, take a flask... dont buy a programme and for the raffle, dont go there!
There is no issues with following the lions from home, aslong as we dont swell Mr M's wallet. A flask of tea instead of a cup from tea bar will do?

I won't be at home games either Steve. I hope Danny Bryant will accept my invitation to come along to away games with us, he is united with us in the shock of the appaling behaviour shown by the committee.

I received a message through the leagues un-official forum about the situation from another CMFL club. Dont try and work it out, i was asked for confidence in it, but dont read too much into it. -

- I think what is happening at your club is wrong, and the committee are behaving arrogantly with regards to the great support you have up there.

Question is what can you do about it? they abviously dont want to listen to people as you said in your post so what next? How about hitting them where it hurts (in the pocket) now the obvious answer is not to attend home matches but you as a supporter would then also suffer so you dont want to be doing that. so what about getting people not to swell the funds any more than that by say, not going into the bar before ,during and after the match. Not using the tea bar at half time, not buying a programme etc etc, do you get where im coming from? its only small things but positive action in this way will say more about "Fan Power" than chatting to the chairmans wife (who was probabily expecting it) or a pitch invasion will do.

Apologies to the guys who asked me to keep it hush. its just appropriate for now.

Thank you all for your support, it has been the best support I have ever received and news of this situation has spread all over the place (I am even getting newspaper reporters and other clubs contacting me!)

I enjoyed a sunny afternoon today at Sherwood Forest with my family which was lovely. Having returned I have been informed by the 'Mittoo website' that Jamie Bennett is first team manager of Heanor Town FC. Having not been able to hand in my resignation after the game yesterday (as no club officials stayed) this must be considered one of the quickest 'sackings' ever.

Can I wish the players and fans of Heanor Town FC all the very, very best for the forthcoming season. The players have all sent me lovely text messages of support and best wishes which like your support I am very grateful of.

Thanks again.

C'mon the Lions!
