Hi, im an ex striker from Heanor and was asked to rejoin last season but the feeling and timingwasnt right to do so. I was not getting paid extra by my club at the time (pelican) as stated in your local press. Parts of me wishes i came as i hardly got many games after that and missed playing week in week out. I am greatful that teams such as yourselves are still an admirer of myself and would like me to come back. You have a great fan base and some excellent members of staff and players. All of which i have gotten on with at my time there in the past.
I am intrested in who the new manager turns out to be and just to let you know that i am currently looking for a new club next season.
thanks, chris henson

Chris,
It's common news that the club is in the process of looking for a first team manager but in the meantime you are welcome to come training with the club on a Thursday evening at Kimberley Leisure Centre (on the grass). I will leave it with you. If you fancy it then email Paul Morley (the webmaster) and he can put you in contact with me.
Regards,
Danny

Chris, speaking from experience, "the grass is rarely greener" in any walk of life. I understand you wanting to try your luck elsewhere but like a lot of players who have done the same or similar, many of them return or wish they had the opportunity to do so.

You are a quality player and I am sure whoever is Manager next season they would like to think you were available, as would the supporters.

I suggest you take up the offer from Danny and turn up on a Thursday.
