Where oh where have Johnny's Pink Socks gone?
Where oh Where can they be!
They've been banished to the locker room Iv'e been told
Banished by the Club Committee!
I have heard from a reliable source that the famous PINK SOCKS have been banned from being displayed on the Physo's legs at Heanor Town matches.
Those who issue these demands might be better placed attending more matches and concentrating on looking at ways to achieve promotion, rather than issuing demands about a pair of socks. It's as bad, or even worse, than the saga of the kids on the pithch at half time and that went down like a lead baloon.
Never mind Mr McGann those famous pink socks that made national non league press and You Tube (for the old fuddy duddies on the Committee) It is a website that is viewed throughout the world by millions of people every day, and has probable put Heanor Town back on the map, thats more than can be said for the current custodians!!!
My advise to those who made this decision "GET A LIFE"!!!!!!!!!!! |

Don't talk about the committee not liking the socks. How would they know? How many bother to travel to watch the club ? At Radcliffe on saturday one I think. We the supporters enjoy them and let's face it there's little else to talk about on the pitch. |

I noticed as I came onto this website a picture of a guy with pink socks is this what all the fuss is about? Does this mean that the photo will have to be replaced?Or has big brother not reached the site yet. |

Didn't you know this is an unofficial site and the committee do not recognise or use it (unless its for their benefit), saying that the Sec does now and again to let us know the position regarding fixtures. I wonder if he has to ask permission beforehand?
Big Brother has spoken yet again, its a shame it isn't something constructive, such as "finally after umpteen years in the planning the NEW CHANGING ROOMS HAVE GOT THE GO-AHEAD and Pinegar is going to be thirty quid lighter in his pocket!!!!! no! the major issue is John McGann and his pink socks!!
Robin is quite right a few more committee members at away matches and they would be better thought of from the regulars than this petty nit-picking over a pair of socks! from one of the true characters at the club. |

And long shall they reign, the PINK SOCKS that is not the old fuddyduddies partaking of their Bakewell slice and cups of tea (as nice as the Bakewell Tart is) in their little room at half time.
I think there should be a permanent pic on the site Kip at least until the COMMITTEE change their decision.
Can you make the pic any bigger Kip? |

This is my appology to MrMcCullouch and everybody at the club, yes it was me 100%guilty.
I did not wish to cause offence, I only wanted to put a smile on fans faces not upset people.
Last year during the cause of my work I visited your Chairman's home and even spoke to his wife, being the honest guy that I am, I told her What I had done and she appeared to be amused by my stunt now it appears that her husband thinks otherwise.
Well dear reader are you confused at what this is about? well let me tell you 1 pair of socks!!! How pathetic.
Without trying to undermine your management team to whom I know on a personal, basis let me tell that both Harvey & Stacey were interviewed to manage your club and felt the committee to be over bearing, so they joined South Normanton look at the fine job they are doing on a limmited budget.
To Mick, Kels, JPS & the lads, all the best for the season and I look forward to seeing you all soon for a pint.
Best Wishes
Bob |

To Bob Elliott,
Please enlighten us on what your apology is all about as I cannot see what it has to do with John McGann's Pink Socks or am I missing something? |

Talk about a storm in a tea cup (Sorry Mac you drink coffee but you know what I mean) Wilo is desperate for a Physio with your ability. Come back to the bowl, bring your socks & F!"% em off. We all loved you, think about it, give us a ring & rejoin the new Red Revolution
Regards
