AVBC have declared the pitch playable so the game is ON. However, as always the final decision is down to the referee. The groundsmen are currently working on the pitch so we are optimistic that we will be ok.

What can I say??? It stunk on Saturday. I thought we lacked bottle for the fight, that's what dissapointed me the most.
I haven't got a leg to stand on so please speak your mind. Both myself and Mick Rogers accept total responsibility and we'll put this right. I thought there number 6 was the best player on the park. He managed to unsettle our midfield, got Giz sent off and basically took control with some hard graft.
To rub salt in the wounds, the guy who scored two very nice goals for them rejected a move to Heanor just a few weeks earlier.
We are actively always trying to improve our team and will continue to do so in preparation for next season. We do have good players but need to collectively improve.
Our target now is the cup, so lets go for it we everything we've got.

No! Mr Kelsey, Gizzy got himself sent off, he took the bait hook line and sinker. It was obvious from the start when they doubled up on him what their intentions were. If you didn't see it you are either blind or nieve. In my opinion Gizzy should have been replaced at half time as he was not having one of his better games along with Scott who had the biggest stnker while he has been at Heanor Town.

One area I will agree with you is that their No6 was the best man on the pitch, he did his job in winding Gizzy up and when that was complete he was substituted.

I just wonder what players like Aled and Trav, to mention two, who give their all every week, what they think about the situation?

I'll give you full credit Mark for sticking your head into the firing line but would rather see you kicking ass in the changing room at half time when it is needed.

If players don't want to give 100% for the lions then put players in the side who will!!!

WELL SAID STEVE.
Mr Kelsey i would go further than Steve and say you were very naive with the Gizza incident and with alot of other aspects of the game. You have suggested that only one player their No6 unsettled our whole midfield something he had done in the previous games, should you not have recognised this before the game or at worst early on in the game and done something to counter this ? and what made you think their goalscorer would come to us after the easy beatings they have handed out to us.
What really stinks though Mr Kelsey is that you have stated that our target now is the cup when there is almost 1/2 the season to play for, that is not a very positive message to be sending out to the club, players and supporters.

P.S Please stop sucking upto Mark Harvey[see Heanor Chat- Topic comittee error]

i have a theory on why we aint no good against pelican, the management cant count, as shown by mark saying 'To rub salt in the wounds, the guy who scored two very nice goals for them rejected a move to Heanor just a few weeks earlier' how can we work out that someone scored two when the scorers we're, Dalmedo, Gadsby, Henson (traitor) and Walton. u reckon they cudda told giz to watch out for a player wearing a different number to 6. bless him tho, not his fault hes easily wound up, down to 10 men though and what time in the game we're the 3 subs done? 80 what? its stupid, Mick and Mark (sounds like it shud b on the windscreen of a limegreen capri doesn't it!) take a lesson from claudio ranieri, tinker with your team, look at the reserves you never know you might even by surprised, just give other players a chance now YOU have written off our chances of finishing anywhere creditable at the seasons end, lets have an improvement ey, not by the players but by the puppets at the top

I must agree ( for once ) with Steve on this, Gizza got himself sent off, no point blameing Pelican's no 6, think Gizza's been in the game long enough to know when a player is doing is best to wind him up and get a reaction. Looks like they singled Nick out and their plan obviously worked. We weren't up for the game and no matter how much we all dislike their manager he seems to get the best out of his players!!

Anyways, that games history, Barton here we come, if anyone is interested there is a coach trip for Saturdays game, places available, departs from the Town Ground at 1200PM and will arrive back in Heanor around 7 30- 8 00pm, cost £5, bargain day out.

Lets silence Curly Watts again!!!! Laughing

Wow, I see this website is very useful.
I'm going to do my best to answer your comments and will start with Giz's sending off. Yes we should have brought him off earlier, but he is a match changing player so we gambled and failed by keeping him on for the second half. Giz is an excellent player and will be important to us for the remainder of the season. Giz apologised and really wants to put this behind him. I believe the No 6 was a good combatitive player who bossed the midfield. But he was not the only player for B-P.
The substitutions were made too late I agree. It was actually in the 70 min mark but nevertheless too late.
I have not and will not write off Heanor getting a more than creditable position in the league. I'm simply being realistic by stating our only real opportunity of silverware is the cup. We will endeavor to win every game for the remainder of the season. I do not see the point in playing unless it is to win.
Mark Palmer scored two goals against us on Saturday. He is the player we approached and he is the player who scored TWO. Maybe not in the papers but he did score two. I can count.
Also Palmer was at Greenwood Meadows when we approached him and was not part of a winning team against Heanor.

Both myself and Mick have been in this first season position before and both of us at our respective clubs followed the next season with the title.
Thanks for your comment guys.

The talk from the management about next season is reassuring. It seems a while since we have gone into a new season with a management team in place.Let's all hope we can sort a team out before everyone else gets first pick. But please give us something to cheer about from now until the end of this season.
