Not not me mate. Im only at the 5-a-side standard, so you wont see my silky skills tomorrow.

I will be there watching from the sidelines if you win make your self known and i will buy you your 1st pint. (think my moneys safe Laughing ) If you want to give me stick you have some investigating to do although finding you might be easier Wink

Remember to smile for the camera for our webguy.

todays game could go either way, if we play to our best we could have a thriller but if we give gedling the slightest chance, no doubt, they'll take it. anyways, lets just hope we have as good a crowd as last week. lets get some vocal support too...

brilliant boys. great football, great support from the fans, poor refereeing. what more could you want on a cold saturday afternoon. and to top it all 75%of the floodlights are working. lets keep this kind of football being played and we'll soon be up there doing the business. bring on the greenwood...

Awesome Heanor, well played, every player had a blinder!! My apologies to our defence, i predicted 3-2 to us but what was i thinking when we have got Travis and co who,s gonna score past us!!! Thought they had a couple of good strikers and with the chance of them moving in to the top three i just thought that they would pile the pressure on and score but no, another clean sheet for us!!! What a strike from Tony Lormor, AWESOME. I also predicted Adam Nicholls would score so dont think i did too bad!!!! Wink

Think when out third goal went in Sixgunn must have found himself a stone and crawled under it!!

Very Happy

No stone big enough Paul. Wink

I would love to come on here and say we was robbed but we were just out played in every department and i for one thought you fully deserved your victory.

We never really got going for the whole match and i cant remember us having anything clear cut , where as you broke quickly and scored some good goals. Especially the 1st - Great strike.

All our guys commented on you lot in the crowd being very loud and getting behind the team, you must really give the team a boost.

Well done guys and i look forward to your replies.

PS Where were you at full time Paul is was going to buy you a pint?

Bad luck Sixgun you ran into a side on top of their form today.
The Lions played very well and a case can be made for every Heanor player being made man of the match;Jason made an important save early on,the defence was solid and we looked dangerous in attack.BRILLIANT!!! I haven`t come down yet and didn`t feel the cold at all!!
I must give a mention to Tom Widdison who works his socks off every time he pulls on a Heanor shirt and does so much for the team.
We`re improving all the time, let`s keep it up.

Glad you like the photos.

I thought i heard something but wasnt sure what you were saying! So which one are you in the 1st photo then paul.

I had got a Gedling Jacket on, and suppose from a distance my hair might look black.

I have read all the posts on here about the game and how proud you all are of your team at the moment, and i must say i have seen you twice this season now and been impressed on both occasions. You said we looked ordinary and you are right (i would of used the word POOR) Our forwards just didnt produce although Nicky Kennerdale did put himself about a bit but he cant do it all himself. Still lets not take anything away from your victory you are the best team we have played this season and that includes Barton (twice) Barnsley, Radford and Dinnington. We have lost games before today but never been beaten yet this season. So credit to all at Heanor Town and you are right Paul we have a score to settle at home later on in the season and you never know on current form you could do the double. Embarassed

I'll put the pint on ice.

By the way who won the score card? My 10 year old daughter (also in a gedling jacket) had a go. Question Question

Paul, have you heard any more from sixgunn since we gave them a thrashing, he's probably crawled into the nearest hole and wont come out till next season.

Joyce,

Read the above posts and if you check the date and times on them you might notice that they have been a few AFTER the game.

Nice try at being witty though.
