Just to let all the Heanor Town supporters & followers, old & not so old, know that Steve (Mr Heanor Town) Travis has passed his UEFA "B" Coaching Badge.

Unfortunately this has happened a few days too late for him to be considered for the England Job!!

I am sure you will all wish to join me in congratulating Trav on his success and wish him well for the future!

Congrats Trav!
Uefa B is impressive, higher than most non-league managers have...

Just an idea, end of season, Heanor Old Boys against what we have now lol
Trav, Pete Davis, Froggie, Sharpy, Chris Henson, Wayne Allsopp, Towny, Flanny, Shaggy... should I keep naming names.
Get all the top players of a few years ago, and obviously some still playing, get them in for a friendly. Use it as a testimonial for Trav, I know for certain that loyal heanor fans would support it, vocally and financially too!
Make sense?

Like Chris.
I would be more than willing to play in any match arranged for Trav. Would be good to get the side back together that finished the season third in the league a very enjoyable season.

I would jump at the chance to play in a friendly testimonial game for Trav. Class players and a top bloke too. loads of good memories from our time at heanor. Great Club, Great Supporters. Contrary to some peoples previous comments it would be a honour to be asked to play therfore the mere mention of money is showing a lack of respect. Good Luck to the heanor lads for the rest of the season. Roy Sharp

Its obvious you havent retired Roy. The pelican boys are happy to have your services. Scored a few so far this season.

So Jamie, Brian... I havent said anything bad about either of you for a while, any chance of a possibility rating for this testimonial?

pelican is literally 5mins from my house and there is no travelling in the nsl? It would be great to be involved in a testimonial game for trav if it ever happens.
