First time watching HTFC. Well done everyone. Excellent result at Forest Town. It was a bit of a struggle at times - but what the hell - three points is three points !!

I thought the lads did well, they looked solid at the back and competed well in midfield, paricularly against a player of the quality and vast experience of Gary Castledine, and the front line worked their socks off.
When you consider this performance against the first game last season there is a lot to look forward to particularly as half the side were under 19.

I thought the "stand in" goalie had a "fair" game and pulled of a couple of decent saves, mind you, with his experience it should have been a stroll.

Nice one Danny and the lads!!!!

Good luck on Tuesday.

Good Report Steve, but would also say we had shape about our team and determination. Your spot on about southwell last year, we would have been easily beaten. Danny led from the front, his time waisting tactics where spot on, they knew it too. Second half they tried to rush Danny. Second challenge, there player caught Danny. Dan went down, Player Booked. The rest of the Heanor players get some rest bite while the Physio is on the pitch seeing to the Injured Keeper. Forest Town even put Bodies round the pitch, with spare balls to try to keep the pressure on. That to was a good tactic, but they were to Quick because 2 balls kept coming onto the pitch, this to kept stopping the game, to there frustration. Laughing Nice one Lads well Done.. You will not win owt with KIDS

this was a great moral boosting start to the season, given that several players were missing,i thought bryants babes coped well against a side packed with experianced talant.yes they had good percession, but did nothing with it,the players worked themselfs to a standstill and i thought forest town in the end were devoid of ideas in how to brake us down,i urge our supporters to show understanding and patiance while we,the management endever to gell together a team you can be proud of franksy
