Danny dont be put onto the pile because of the polotics within the club as you were what the club has wanted to start the season with.Whoever this guy is why was he not in the pot when the positions were firstly announced or was it a back door application i am sure there will be plenty more mails about this over the weekend.Danny please stay .I am not sure some of the tactics will work over the winter but if you have the framework then it can only improve with games played.As for the players why let problems off the field spoil what you guys have started.Be brave you will overcome it all if you only believe your talking can be done on the field along with Danny.

Bang on Mr S! There was once a episode of 'slade' on tv called DONT LET THE B**TARDS GRIND YOU DOWN. Simple as Danny, we had optimism and enjoyment from the style of football played under you short leadership. We all hope you make a major re-think on this, along with Nath and Brian, for the first time in a good few seasons the club looked settled, no doubt Heanor already has a place in your heart, I know you want us to succeed as much as we do. What needs to be changed to come back?

Few questions that need answering:

Who is Jamie Bennet (what experience has he got, what role is he gonna have and how is it going to work between us and blidworth?)

Why did the chairman decide this without introducing Danny and Jamie before making the decision?

How can the chairman accept Dannys resignation without ever seeing HTFC play under his leadership?

HOW MUCH DOES JAMIE BENNET WANT TO SCARPER?......


THIS CLUB WILL NEVER SUCCEED PAST CENTRAL MIDLANDS UNDER THE CURRENT COMMITTEE, I'M NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT. I admit they're doing a good job for what we do, but, situations like this are not how Heanor Town work by.

Danny. I along with, I am sure, everyone who went to South Normanton on Tuesday,were surprisingly pleased to see someone in the dug-out with a "Genuine Enthusiasm" for the game. Maybe the squad was very inexperienced,and maybe it will take a few games to develop,but with such enthusiasm coming from the bench things will get better as the season progresses.

I have no idea what the appointment of Jamie Bennett at this stage of pre-season (only 2 weeks away from kick-off) is for, but I speak I am sure not only for myself, but for fellow supporters of this club,when I urge you to re-consider your resignation and stay to help bring us back to being the once proud club we were.

If you feel that this is not possible then I wish you all the best for the future

UP THE TOWN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go again! New man in charge oozing enthusiasm from all angles and including the supporters in all he does. Starts with nowt as far as experienced players are concerned and with good management or luck or a bit of both, has started the season far better than most supporters could reasonably have expected.

The Committee should help people like Danny as much as they can as people like him are few and far between, I know I have seen him work at first hand. Lo and behold, what do they do? bring in someone into the club behind his back. Smacks a bit like the Gleeson saga of a few seasons ago to me, and we all know what happened with that one.

When will the buffoons on the committee get it into their heads that when you ask someone to do a job then let them get on with it without interference, unless they think they can do a better job. Will they ever learn?

I would make two suggestions:
1. Danny, I would withdraw your resignation, I know that it is not easy but as you are a "man"I'm sure you can swallow a bit of pride, all the supporters are truly behind you.

2. All the members of the committee should take a long hard look at what they have achieved, or not, over the last 10 years and how far the have taken the club forwards or backwards, and then consider their positions. If they are honest people all of them ,the puppets and the puppeteers on the committee will resign enblock and let someone takeover the running of the club who has the true interest in taking the Lions forward at heart.
