Well if no one elses has the "bottle" then I suppose I'll have to lead the way.
A game played between two sides with little skill and bite up front but in saying that Gedling could and should have scored half a dozen by half time against a woefull Heanor defence. A bit more skill in the middle of the park where Graham Fowkes showed his ability and the hard work of Matt Vincent but again up front there was little to offer with the two so called strikers playing so far away from each other that they had little to offer in the way of clear cut chances.
This is the worst performance I personally have seen from any Heanor Town team since I have been following them with the exception of the period shortly after Mr Gleesons reign ended.
I do not wish to critisize the players as I have said before on this site, as sportsmen wearing the Heanor Town shirt, they will, to a man, give their best. Unfortunately today this, in many instances, was not good enough
It is up to the Management to ensure that they are up to the task before they are given a shirt to wear and on todays showing a fair number were not.
It needs to improve considerably and very quickly or we will be looking relegation firmly in the eyes.
My M.O.M was "Mr Chuckle" in the black kit, for those who didn't go, yes it was that bad!!!!
