As we have had a late start to the pre season matches and the exodus of a number of last years first team regulars I would be suprised if we don't struggle for a few matches. Looking a little bit further forward, knowing some of the players that Mick has signed (if they turn up) and the fact that all the lads who have played in the earlier games will have got used to each other, the quality of football should improve.

Those who turn up to support tomorrow I hope will give the team vocal encouragement whatever the result. You never know they might just spring a suprise. I know if the rest of the team have the same attitude as Trav then that is a possibility. You should have seen him at training on Thursday!

To be fair to the lads, I've seen us play worse and win! Some good football at times and you can tell that Hudson and Briscoe are still good players - Briscoe hardly wasted a ball and Hudson has a great touch and was good in the air. We desperately need a 'proper' striker to play along side him as Brett is not the answer.

Couple of defensive lapses and a well taken goal did for us. I tought that their young player were very assured and good going forward. They seemed more comfortable with this level of football than some of our young lads.

Rainworth will be interesting. Wonder if they'll bother charging us to get in - they seem to have plenty of money!!!

See you on Tuesday Night. You might get a shock with Nettleham some good young players and look very good at the back. The wind played a major factor, and Rainworth should of had 4 created all the chances but did not put them away.If you get anything at Rainworth this year you will of deserved it,it will not be easy that I can promise you Wink Wink
