hopefully we will start pre-season on saturday 8th july at a venue yet 2 b confirmed. the manager is on holiday at the moment and i need 2 confirm with him the exact details. players will b contacted asap and any new players made aware via website and local press |

I don't think Chris will be able to resist putting on a Heanor shirt again, i'm sure all the supporters would give him a great reception if it was to happen!!!

I understand Gary Adul will also be part of the Management team will this mean young Bret will also be coming back to play for the Lions?

i can confirm that pre-season training will start on saturday 8th july. players old and new 2 meet at the town ground at 10-30. trav has kindly agreed 2 oversee this as both myself and mick will b away.
on the subject of brett adul i can confirm that he will b coming back 2 heanor. |

Bret returning is excellent news Chris! He looked the part at the end of last season when he played for Prims.

Hang on! I was thinking of coming out of retirement and playing up front but the boots have worn out, the knees have gone and I have too much ballast up front. I'll stick playing the game from the touchline it's a lot easier, mind you I still get out of breath watching sometimes!
Mind you I might well be at the training sessions as a willing helper as I have done in the past.
