Let,s not lay all of the blame for lack of ambition on the current owner & committee.Way back in the olden days when the Northern Premier League was formed Heanor by their standing and league position were automatically accepted. What happened ?. The committee of the time went along to the meeting of the NPL and withdrew!!!!!!! Our supporters are the long suffering heroes of Heanor Town and deserve better.

If other seasons are anything to go by a new management team will be announced when all the better players have been signed by other teams.

ANON has hit the nail fairly and squarely on the head, whilst the current Committee are in charge we are going nowhere fast.

It's time they all retired gracefully and let younger, more enthusiastic people have control of the once top flight local club, which in their stewardship has gone backwards whilst many other local clubs have moved onwards and upwards.

People make me laugh when they call for the committee to resign.Who are these mysterous people who are going to do all the work involved.Is the person calling for their resignation willing to do any of the jobs needed to keep the club going NO!!! are they willing to fork out money from their own pocket NO!!!! I am in no way connected to the present committee but I do know they work very hard for the club and all they get are people calling for them to resign.Anybody can hurl insults at vulnerable people but the chance is there for anybody to get involved if they want, so instead of sounding off DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE FOR A CHANGE.

I have been involved with the comittee in the past and from experience can advise that it is not a committee in the true sence of the word as all decisions such as the appointment of the new manager will, if past experience is anything to go on, will be made by the Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary.

I, like many people within the Heanor area, who have indicated to me that they would be happy to participate in the running of HTFC again but not whilst in the control of the present officials.
